We walked by this restaurant a few times and it always smelled great so we finally decided to try it for lunch one day. The kebabs were so good that we ordered two more to go once we were done eating. I also tried the mixed grill which wasn't that great, with the beef being of bad quality and the chicken not having much taste. This was my favourite kebab in three weeks in Jordan/Turkey so definitely recommend.

This restaurant has a new name and is now called Reem Beladi (formerly known as Reen Al Wadi). We loved the kofta with tomatoes and the Turkish chicken was very good. Definitely eat here if you visit Petra!

Reem Al-Wadi is 2 minutes down the hill, after the circle on the right so you might have to look for it. Worth finding. The chicken kebabs are delicious as are all of the traditional main courses that are freshly grilled to order. Wish there had been more customers around us, but given the fact that locals frequent this restaurant... a great recommendation. Service is excellent, accommodating and caring. Lamb chops a bit overcooked. You're better off with chicken, rice, salads. GO FOR IT !!

I was in Wadi Musa for 2 nights with my brother and we went here for dinner both nights. The chicken kabab is the best thing ever. They have amazing fresh meats, delicious Jordanian bread, good salads and rice. WOW. It's one of the cheapest options around and we were hooked. They prepare and cook all the meat out on the street so you can really see the quality. All the guys working there were very friendly and attentive. I'd go back to Jordan just to eat this food.

Our hotel had recommended this restaurant when we mentioned we would like to try some local food and were not keen on shawarma. The restaurant is a small place on the Wadi Musa- Petra road. We had ordered Kabsah which was a well prepared chicken and rice dish and the hummus was excellent too. The Arayes too was well spiced and perfectly cooked. We liked the food and ate here the next night as well.
