Petra is so big and hard to imagine a city of this size in its day. The façades are amazing and one can visualise this bustling place in the region.

This street contains amazing structures and carvings that just go on and on. It is part of the walk through Petra and if you are a stair climber, you can get closer than I did. Those stairs were very intimidating and I was comfortable viewing the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and the Monastery from the bottom of the canyon.

More amazing facades carved into the rock. Lovely walk between the Treasury and Royal Tombs. Keep watching on both sides of the trail. On the way out you will probably notice things that you missed on the way in.
