My wife and I stayed here in May 2014 on our visit to Petra. We did not pick this hotel. We were assigned this hotel by our tour company. A nice place minus a few things that we always look for when we book our hotels which is always. We had a king size bed nice and comfortable, good sleep, good pillows, tv but with little or no American channels, no air conditioning, very few plugs, no internet in the room, internet in public areas, no shower enclosure just a shower pan on the floor. Water gets all over the floor. Really nice breakfast which was included in the room price. Very nice seating to eat. We had a nice outside balcony near our room. There is a nice big outside pool and lounge area. They have a turkish bath. The front desk area is bright and open. The front desk foks are nice but a little hard to communicate with. We did not know the cost as the price was embedded in the tour. All in all the stay was good.

We stayed here 3 nights in May.
A nice comfortable hotel. A good place from where to explore Petra.
The hotel shuttle service offers transport to the gates of Petra in the morning and back in the afternoon. It may be possible to have to call for the transport back, so don't forget the hotel phone number.
Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. A nice pool offers refreshment after a long day of climbing up dusty steps in Petra. Restaurant offers a good breakfast.
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is located quite a way out of the city centre, up a steep hill. Walking to town is not recommended for everyone. Taxis are readily available.

Room Tip: We had a room facing the Wadi. Nice sunset view from the balcony.

Al Anbat is our only option each time we visit Petra. It’s five minute drive from the entrance of the site which guarantees the absolute quietness we need after an exhausted day. The staffs are polite and helpful. The room is spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. We always reserve half board in a bargained price. And we really enjoy both dinner and breakfast buffet with plenty of appetizers and hot meals. The only disadvantage is there is almost no or very weak wifi connect in the room.

It's a big hotel with lots of bus tourists so there's no cozy atmosphere but the rooms are very good. Very clean, big, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a spectacular view from the rooms and from the restaurant. The restaurant has a buffet for breakfast and dinner. WiFi only works in the lobby.

My partner and I enjoyed an evening at the Alanbat Hotel as part of a Petra Tour booked through our Jerusalem Hostel over the Easter half term.

We were delighted by the customer service and friendliness from the moment we arrived.
The room we stayed in was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with the option of a bath AND shower, something not all hotels provide!

The staff went over and above our expectations, bending over backwards to make our Petra experience all it could be. They have brilliant local knowledge of where to go should you wish to head out, as well as plenty of things to help you relax after a long days walking.

With a pool, Turkish baths, Cafe with Hookah available, and Restaurant (where we received a wonderful buffet breakfast), shuttle down to the Old City, and a shop next door for any last minute needs you may have, I would recommend the Alanbat to anyone headed to Petra,

Room Tip: The restaurant has some beautiful views over the Old City, worth a look during the day and again in...

Perfect for those with a car who like to stay a little set back from the main Petra site. The hotel has much to offer (lovely rooms, varied breakfast buffet, pool and bar area, not to mention the view) but it did lack atmosphere as it was very quiet when we stayed. Nevertheless, for a short stay in Wadi Musa, it would fit the bill!
