The hotel is located about a I've minute walk from Petra. We got the rooms adjoining the pools and loved it and there was place for the children to play and a good place for all of us to chill in. He evening with food and drink. The buffet breakfast was pretty good. Didn't try the buffet dinner. There are a few popular restaurant very close by but I would suggest the 15 minute walk into the village of Wadi Musa away from Petra for some good local food. We loved Al-Bukhara for food which served superb chicken and lamb kebabs and was packed with locals. Theres a great sweet shop opposite Al Bukhara where the baklava is great.
The bar attached to the hotel is quite a great place to relax with some Petra Beer. The wifi is available just in the corridor between the lobby and the bar or the bar itself and is free for guests(something is better than nothing, and pretty fast ).
