“Good place to stop and relax”

First off girls......the loos are clean , and the chap said thank you for his tip!!

It was a welcome place to stop and eat, we did this as part of a tour group. We were a big group but it was not busy . The food was good , well set out and tasty.

No idea of prices as this was included as part of tour.

“Best choice inside the park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

We ate twice here, which tells we were satisfied enough. The first day we took just sandwiches. These were complete with chips and salad. More than enough (we were more tired than hungry). The second day a more regular lunch with beers. It took a long wait to have a table because it was raining outside and the groups took it easy to finish. Again nothing to complain about. This may have been the best restaurant we tried in our three days at Wadi Musa, despite the expectable high prices at such a hotspot. An also because it is managed by the Crowne Plaza network, not famous for their low prices.

“Good restaurant with a wide selection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

I really liked this restaurant despite readin some very mixed reviews before going there. We went for the buffet and got everything we could have wanted, freshly cooked falafel, hummus, chicken wings( really tasty) a selection is salads and dips. The cold food and maze looked more appetising than the hotel food which I did not touch, I was happy though as what I had was very tasty. Good service and polite staff. Huge selection of deserts. Good place to rest your feet before or after the monastery steep climb.

“It's place gives Crowne Plaza a bad name!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

After walking around the Petra site for a couple of hours, decided to stop for a cold drink before the walk up to the monastery. Chose this place many due it looking nicer than the other restaurant over the bridge. We walked in and nobody stopped to seat us, we had to stop a waiter and ask for a table. However after 10minute wait we were still waiting for service. Every time we caught a waiters eye he walked off!! Another waiter then thought it was more important to tie a guys turban rather than serve his customers. In the end we walked out and went to the shabby restaurant over the bridge and were served right away and it cost less!!

Overall don't be fooled by the Crowne Plaza name, this place give the brand a bad name!!

“suprized by the good quality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

Although I was aware hat this restuarant, situated towards the end of the main trail to the monastery, was being run by the Crown Plaze Group, i was impressed by the quaility of the food on offer considering also the remote location for the venue. They do have a captive market so the place is not cheap but for around JD 25 i had a very good buffet lunch with plenty of options and all freshly prepared. Alot of management staff around it seems but they also got stuck in and waited tables when they needed to so well done to them. the place is busy as you can expect so its not the place to linger really unless one sits outside (sudden dust storms formed me inside) Overall, very impressed and i think its worth eating there.
