Our tour bus stopped here for lunch after visiting Petra. This place is filled with tourists, and is basically a banquet hall filled with long tables. The food was good, but not great. It was fairly clean. Overall, a fine stop for a tour bus, but definitely not a "local" place, nor a place that I would stop at if I weren't with a tour.

Our driver recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed by any means. There's a wide variety of starters, mains and deserts. The view from our table was breath-taking overlooking the mountains. We also asked if there was somewhere to pray and the waiter kindly directed us to a quiet area upstairs. For desert you must try Um-Ali it is delicious!

Our tour to Petra stopped for lunch at this buffet restaurant. The tables were covered in dirty tablecloths, and there were flies buzzing around. The bathrooms were filthy. The buffet foods consisted of hummus and pita, lamb stew, a lasagna that wasn't lasagna and chicken. This is not for the faint of heart and only for those with a cast iron stomach. The views of Aaron's tomb and the mountains were the only things that redeemed the place.

Authentic food buffet style. Eat as much as you like and is the lunch stop for a lot of guided tours. Tasty enough, but personally am not keen on this type of eating.

We stopped at the restaurant for a late lunch (around 4 pm) after long day at Petra. We were tired and hungry since we had not eaten anything since breakfast. The buffet had many different dishes and could easily accommodate the two vegetarians in our group. The dessert buffet had some nice items, too. The place can get a little hectic in the late afternoon, since a number of tour buses stop there after visiting Petra, but this did not materially affect our enjoyment. If you're lucky to get a table by the large windows, the nice views will add to your eating pleasure.
