Stayed here for a trip to petra. The owner is very helpful and gave good tips on making the trip to petra as good as can be. The hotel rooms are quite basic but they are clean and comfy. The best thing about this hotel is the hospitality.

This hotel has clean comfortable rooms but the draw card is the enclosed rooftop terrace with cushions and lounges, a balcony and a beautiful view over the desert city. The owners have their finger on the local pulse and can offer information. The traditional breakfast is the best I've had in Jordan and was included but you will need to give notice for dinner if you want it. This felt like the kind of place I could sit and write for weeks.

Low season prices are available for some things like taxi transfers so I would search for these outside of the hotel. All in all a very comfortable stay.

Room Tip: Rooms near reception have fast wifi, others have none

Really pleased with our stay at this small friendly hotel. Lovely lady owner (Jane) who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are basic but you dont go to Jordan to spend much time inside!. There is a great terrace and a rooftop diner with amazing views over Petra.(Sunsets/sunrises are spectacular). We did not have a evening meal during our stay but the breakfasts were delicious! Omelettes cooked to your liking.
This hotel is great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Petra.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor at the rear of the hotel and enjoy the spectacular vista.

We booked this hotel mainly because it was a really good deal. We knew it was a fair ways away from the entrance to Petra but were planning on using the free shuttle the hotel offers. What we didn't know is that everything else such as restaurants, banks, and shopping are also quite far away and we ended up walking a lot or spending money on taxis because it was late or we were tired and only once did we get a taxi driver to agree to 3 JD for the trip, more often we paid 5-6 JD. The rooms were a bit musty and dated. The bathroom in our room was ridiculous because toilet was installed directly in front of the sink with almost no room between them but we took the room anyways because it had a great view of Wadi Musa. The breakfast was simple but good. There were several instances where we returned to the hotel and there was no one behind the front desk so we had to help ourselves to our room key which made me question the security of the hotel. When we went to check out they tried to charge us close to twice what we had booked the room for on HostelBookers.com even though we had a printout of the reservation and what we owed and we had to argue to get them to agree to the original reservation. If I had to do it again I would pick a hotel which was closer to the downtown shops and restaurants.

we stay there for 2 nights, and it was OK, according to what we paid (79 JD)
the staff is nice, the location, just 5 minutes by taxi from the Hotel (it cost 3 JD = aprox 4,20 us$)
the room was OK, but the carpet smelled wet and not so nice.
the restroom was very little, and there is not hot water 24 hours.
Internet is for free and it works properly.
its possible to arrange from the hotel, to visit the a Beduin Camp (beautiful experience!), but beware that some staff member could forget to arrange it, like happened to us. (no problem, i think she was pretty tired, thats it :)
the view from the hotel, is very beatifull, specially in the evening. The pictures uploaded here, show the hotel areas, exactly as they are (very nice decoration)
