This was an impeccably organised tour taking in Wadi Rum and Petra in just over 24 hours. We were met at the land border Jordan shares with Israel by a PNT representative which made entry into Jordan very easy. We were then collected by our driver Sulaiman who was very nice, professional and took the time to explain what to expect on the tour. We were also given a mobile phone should we need to contact him for anything.

Our guide for Wadi Rum was Mohammad who was very well informed and friendly - we thoroughly enjoyed the 3-hour jeep ride with him. We were also given plenty of free time to wander about without feeling rushed. Later we were collected by Sulaiman to be taken to the hotel. PNT had booked us into the Seven Wonders Hotel in Petra; a new hotel, very clean with immaculate service.

The next morning Sulaiman picked us up to take us to Petra and there we were guided around the site by Ali who too was very well-informed. We decided to ride donkeys up to the Monastery as its a steep and long climb up but well worth it. Again we were given plenty of free time to explore by ourselves. Petra is breathtaking and needs a full day to take it all in so would recommend starting very early to avoid the large crowds.

We were collected by Sulaiman and driven back to the border for our onward journey back to Jerusalem.

PNT Tours staff (guides, driver and office staff) were exceptionally professional and helpful from beginning to end. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Jordan thanks to them.

My husband and I booked a one day tour of Petra from Amman through Petra Nights Tours. we selected them based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor, and we were extremely pleased with the tour company. From the reservation to the pick-up to the tour of Petra itself, the service was top notch. The car even had wifi in it so we could surf the internet on our 3 hour trip down (and then back....). Our driver Raed was very professional. We highly recommend them.

My wife and I were able to score a very cheap flight to Israel and decided to see as many of the sites in the area as we could. Top on our list was Petra and of course Jerusalem. Since we were landing in Tel Aviv I researched several ways to visit Petra and finally decided to use Petra Nights Tours. We were picked up at the border crossing in Aqaba(crossing on your own is easy) after crossing fro Eilat. We were greeted on the Jordan side by an employee of PNT who greeted us with a personalized sign. He checked to make sure we had crossed ok and took us to one of the shops for tea and coffee. He was very professional and helpful. I needed to change some dollars to dinar and he showed me which shop did that(btw the best way to get foreign currency seems to have been to pre-order form your credit union or bank). He informed us that our driver would be there shortly(we had crossed early). When the driver arrived we were handed off to him, Khaled. He loaded our roller bags(backpacks would have been better) into the super clean new van and we started our journey. As we drove he described the area and significant sites as we passed them. Additionally he made sure to tell us of our itinerary(as well as providing a printed packet with one). We drove to Petra stopping at one roadside tourist shop. We had managed to pick our arrival time right in the middle of snow storm and Khaled drove extremely safely at all times. He was very well versed in the history of the areas we drove through. He drove us to Petra and handed us over to our guide. Each time Khaled handed us off to a guide or hotel he made sure that we well taken care of. The guide in Petra, Ahmed, did a great job. He also was quite knowledgeable and well spoken. I was impressed how well almost every one we met spoke English. After our tour of Petra we had free time to walk around to whatever parts of the park we wanted to. My wife has had several knee surgeries so we took donkeys up to the Monastery but if you are in even moderate shape you could walk it yourself. Whatever you do though don't miss the Monastery. After we finished for the day Khaled met us at the entrance(they provide you a cell phone to use in Jordan) and took us to our hotel Taybet Zaman. This is an old village that has been renovated into a very high quality hotel. It is very unique and pretty. It was almost empty as we were there in the low season. Breakfast is included in the rate and was very good as well. The next morning Khaled picked us up at the time we requested and we went back to Petra for more free time. After several hours my wife's knees were hurting so she left the park and went to the Movenpick hotel right at the entrance to the park to have some tea(they have an ATM you can use). I hiked to the top of the High Place of Sacrifice. Another must do.
[Some tips about Petra - I found everyone to be gracious if you firmly refused their services or whatever they were selling. DO NOT buy any of the "ancient" coins and similar items. They aren't so authentic.]
When I was ready I called Khaled and he met us at the entrance. From there he drove us to Wadi Rum. I had taken a while exploring so he called ahead had the Jeep tour guide meet us at the highway so that we would have more time for the tour. We drove around Wadi Rum for about three hours including seeing two natural stone bridges and many other amazing rock formations. Here again we felt very safe with the driver and also there were tourist police patrolling(same as in Petra). We stopped at a small Bedouin camp and rode their camels for about 10 minutes. There was a baby that was only 5 days old! After we got done he drove us to Captain's Desert Eco Camp(a tourist bedouin camp). Again we were one of two sets of guests so we got an enormous tent to ourselves. The bed was fine but the water was cold in the shower. Also use the mosquito net. We got eaten alive. The food was excellent and all of the people who worked there were welcoming and friendly. The next morning our driver, Khaled, called us because he was actually snowed in and couldn't come pick us up to go back to the border. He arranged another driver though who drove up from Aqaba and took us to the border crossing.
All in all it was an amazing trip to one of the wonders of the world that was made even better by the employees of Petra Night Tours. I would highly recommend them.

Had a fantastic time. Went there with my girlfriend in Nov 2011 (I'm just a little late in writing the review so I feel bad on that front). Our driver was extremely attentive and the local guides were for the most part very good. He was prompt (always waiting for us, and we were pretty much always on time). Our trip to Jordan was part of a Memphis Tours package to Egypt, Jordan and Israel, so it wasn't that long, but if you're going to Jordan, I'd highly recommend these guys - same for Memphis Tours.

I was traveling Jordan for 8 days (23 to 30 Dec 2012) with my colleague. Before traveling, I did not have much experience and knowledge about Arabic countries including Jordan. Or, I seemed to have wrong prejustification and impression about them. The trips were well organized by PNT and the driver, Samir, sent by PNT was more than a driver. He was very inteligent and knowledgeable rather than any other guides. I could understand their history, situation, and perspective. It makes me have more interests in the country and people. If you want to have broader scope of life and if you want to know more about the world around you, it is worthy to try. Even you do not need to plan or worry anything before traveling, but just contact to PNT.
