We stayed for two nights in a family room (quadruple) in early April, which was a tight fit for adults and teenage kids but good value for money. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and well functioning. All staff were friendly and helpful with advice about seeing Petra and other sites surrounding Wadi Musa. We were driving and they helped us navigate which was most appreciated!
We were especially impressed with the quality of their restaurant and food, each night they have a buffet dinner with delicious fresh meat, fish and vegetable choices, lots of salads and yummy desserts too, all for a reasonable per head price.
The location of the hotel is not extremely close to the entrance of Petra but it is easy to get down the hill and it is quiet and away from the night time activities near the visitor centre.
All in all we can recommend this hotel as good value for money, clean, well run with a great restaurant.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a good value for money hotel with small but clean rooms and located less then 5 minutes drive from the entrance to Petra.

We had booked for 2 nights thinking we'd need the time to explore Petra in full but left after one night, partly as we'd seen enough of the ancient city and found the new town unprepossessing. The hotel was also a disappointment and a reason to leave earlier than planned.

On the morning after our first night, neither I nor my co-traveller in a separate room could get hot water out of the shower or the basin. The guy at the front desk expressed disbelief, but that seemed to be the extent of his reaction. The elevator also stopped working although that was no big deal as we were on the second floor. We spent the morning exploring Petra, got back about 1pm but the water situation wasn't much improved - lukewarm after 5 minutes running, and not adequate for a shower. Different guy in the front desk, who also expressed amazement that both rooms did not have hot water. So, we checked out early - the hotel charged us for both nights, despite there being only a couple of other guests as far was we could tell, but that's their prerogative.

I appreciate that plenty of other travellers have had great experiences here, so though I personally could not recommend this hotel, it looks like we were just unlucky.

Room Tip: Be aware that the rooms at the front of the hotel get quite a lot of noise from the road, even at ni...

This hotel is definitely the best choice if you want to visit the ancient city of Petra. Firstly I booked my room for only one night, but the room and the staff was so nice, that I changed my mind and stayed one more night. This hotel is not located exactly next to the entrance of Petra, you have to walk a little bit, but there are no big distances. The room was perfect, and very clean. The prices are affordable, and it includes also a breakfast. And the food was very delicious too, so I can't say any negative things about this place. It was just perfect!

Great stay. The rooms are excellent, (though small), very clean and nice beds. Very recommended if you have a car (about 5min drive to the entrance of Petra site). Convenient parking directly infront of the hotel. Great value for money.

This hotel was really nice and very clean! It was also quite roomy and the view was pretty good. The manager Mahmud was very accommodating and a very nice person. He went out of his way to help us with a flat tire that we had at his hotel. He took us in his car to the mechanic which was very sweet of him. Mahmud's brother was also very accommodating. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was really good too and the surrounding restaurants had really good food too. Overall, the hotel was located in a very central area and it is easy to get around.
