“Spectacular Canyon”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

This canyon links Feynan Ecolodge to the village of Mansoura in Showbak. We stayed at both Dana Guesthouse and Feynan Ecolodge during our trip. We walked down via Wadi Dana, and back via Wadi Ghuwair. Wadi Ghuwair needs a guide. We used one from Feynan. The hike is spectacular. It took us 8 hours. half of the time was inside the siq, a narrow canyon (2 meters at times) with 40 meter walls. Do not miss the huge boulder that is wedged between the walls. Near the village of mansoura, a bedouin pickup was waiting for us to transfer us back to Dana Guesthouse

“Gorgeous scenery”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

Absolutely loved this hike. Organized transport (drop off and pick up) through Tower Hotel in Dana so we would not have to back track. Easy hike and we did not need a guide. Take lots of water and some snacks or lunch and be prepared to get wet. We hiked in June so had some water to go through...highest level around our calves but other seasons there is more.

The scenery is amazing. I dont want to ruin it so just go and explore.

“Beautiful”

Not to be missed, well worth the hike. The water is clean and refreshing, the track is not too bouldery and relatively easy to walk.
