We had been to The Fox several times over recent years and have always been a bit underwhelmed. The new owners have grabbed this village pub by the scruff of the neck and given it the kick up the backside it needed! The interior has been completely revamped with the removal of an old fireplace being paramount to its success by opening up a previously uninvolved and dingy area. The food is top notch pub grub - nothing too fancy and good value for money - classic fish and chips and pizzas to rival any pizzeria around. I had a ribeye steak which was the best I've had for many a year. Great selection of ales on offer too! What more do you want?
