Description: Galley Foods Eatery is situated on the water inside Empire Marina at Bobbin Head; the heart of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. With an amazing view of the marina, Cowan Creek (just off the Hawkesbury River) and the bush. We've created a more casual eat in take away Galley experience. We have recently undergone some changes at Galley; where there was a restaurant, a simpler casual eatery is now being offered. Fully licensed with bottle shop and own coffee roasting facilities. Mark Zavone still heads the kitchen team, he has created a menu to suit the casual atmosphere of the boats and National park with which we are surrounded. Served in eco friendly packaging, we pride ourselves on trying to use the freshest and most sustainable produce available. Enjoy one of our fantastic meals with a glass of wine or beer.

Last minute decision to head out for brunch was worth it. First time here since it became Galley Foods and will definitely come back. Wait staff very pleasant, coffee and food good and looking at the water, boats and kuringai national park was an added bonus.

What a top spot. A delight right on the water inside the Empire Marina. Fish literally jumping in the water around the restaurant - (you can feed the fish..fun for the children) We sat in the covered outdoor dining area which is well fitted to catering for all weather conditions. The setting in the National Park is sublime and a must see for overseas visitors..literally only 35minutes drive from the CBD.
We'd had good reports from friends & were aware of the operators extensive experience as dedicated foodies and excellent hosts. My wife had the Salmon Benedict and I had the 'Build your own Breakfast' - Both Excellent. Fresh & Tasty.. Great bacon! The coffee was excellent, from a well reputed roaster whose product Ive enjoyed elsewhere in Sydney (I had a second:).
Galley Foods is BYO.. and after discussion with the Owner we thought we'd take the opportunity to enjoy some excellent wines with a more substantial meal, and have booked for a Long Lunch with friends in the near future, so I may well be expanding on, or supplementing this review.
I heartily recommend Galley Foods

we shared a breakfast here, and had some coffee...once they got the coffee right (after originally curdling the soy milk) the coffee was okay...okay enough to order a second (as we were here for a while)...and they stuffed it again - so gave up on that one! The breakfast was nice, again they forgot gluten free so it had to go back. Servcie was weird, funny looks when we asked for a table (we are a late twenties couple - well dressed)...and again when asked for a replacement due to curdled coffee....
It is a much better choice than the bobbin inn cafe (which smelt of oil and used soy so good)...but still could be improved upon)..........
Prices were reasonable given the captive location - we traveled here via boat.

Great reviews to be fair for the restaurant however took my bosses mother to the kiosk after finding the restaurant closed . The bacon was reheated for sure and burnt. My salad was drenched in oil and I mean drenched and in general the whole experience not great . I'm guessing and it looked like the owners were not present ( everyone should have days off ) but hey this was not good . Location perfect service what you would expect from a kiosk but wow the food was shockingly bad .

We love this restaurant. Great food, and great service. Whether for a breezy lunch or a beautiful dinner as the sun comes down.
