Recently I took a 7 day business road trip and decided to stay for one night at a B&B, rather than the chain hotels. Baker House in N. Little Rock, AR was my choice and it was superb. Right from the reservation process owners Scott & Sonja Miller were warm, friendly, and paid obvious attention to detail. I knew the accommodations would reflect their winning personalities, and Baker House B&B was all that and more.
My room, the Hays Suite, was stunning. The place is a piece of Little Rock history, and the Millers have taken great care to preserve that sense of history (as well as providing wireless internet in every room for when you want to step back into the present). N. Little Rock is virtually a walk to downtown Little Rock and has a neat historic Argenta district all it’s own with quaint shops and restaurants. I couldn’t say enough about the Millers and what they’ve done, and wish I had more time to avail myself of all the amenities of Baker House.
I was referred to Baker House by the owner of the most popular B&B in town because she was full-up. As Baker House becomes more well-known, she may wish she wasn’t so kind.
