“Great Italian place in NLR.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

We have eaten dinner here several times in recent years. It is always good. The Mozzarella Caprese is a must. The Fried Sage Leaves are unique. Service has always been good. Has the feel of a San Francisco side street restaurant. Give them a try when you are in downtown NLR.

“Weather cooled the food, but the service & atmosphere warmed our hearts! Buen provecho!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

On 12/31/12, my wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here, as we had read the excellent reviews on tripadvisor.com. It was also highly recommended by friends. My wife (after grilling our server about HIS favorites), decided on the lasagna ($11.00), and I opted for the Tagiatelle Bolognese ($10.50), which turned out to be a generous bowl of wide and flat homemade noodles with beef in a wonderful (albeit somewhat skimpy) Bolognese sauce. If you like northern Italian cuisine, you will probably enjoy the entrees served here. My wife thought the lasagna was good, but we both had trouble enjoying our meal due to the strong cold wind which assailed us (and our food) each time the door opened. I felt I had to hurry up and eat before my food got completely cold! We thought we might have to don our coats before we could finish the meal! I realize this establishment could not control the weather, but I would suggest the owners think about adding some kind of double door to prevent this from happening.
El servicio y la comida fueron excelente, pero el viento frio nos fuerzo a apurarse a comer la comida.

“Go to Italian Restaurant in Central Arkansas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

We must not have many, or any Italians living in Central Arkansas ; - ) Because we don't have any authentic Italian restaurants like you find in other cities of our size. However, Ristorante Capeo is delicious. The Chicken Marsala is always excellent. I order it with a side of pasta and it comes with a vegetable. The salads are vey good too. My husband grew up in NY and NJ and he agrees this is as good as it gets for Italian around here!!

“Return Visit Even Better!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

We went back to Ristorante Capeo last week, on a Wednesday evening before a sporting event. The service was as excellent as ever - we had the same waiter that we'd had last summer - and the quality of the food seemed even better. The fresh mozzarella cheese is unbelievable! They serve it in an appetizer that has an Italian meat, tomatoes, olive oil, and fresh basil, and of course in a caprese salad. We had both and both were excellent. And their sea bass was delicious! I shared, and probably shouldn't have!

“Good food nice place”

They have a large variety and a good bar. Our server was not the greatest but the appetizers were great. Also their creme brûlée was exceptional. Eggplant was ok but the risotto is very good
