The restaurant is in a small old house. It's been there for years. Great place for the whole family. Servers are very friendly and makes sure everybody has what they need. Good home style fried fish, frog legs, french fries, slaw, hushpuppies, fried green tomatoes and more......Yummy!!!

We have always enjoyed eating catfish here. We lived in the area for over 5 years and when we wanted catfish this is where we came to get it. Inside for some folks takes a little getting used to but it's the food you go there for not the ambiance. It's locally owned and it is farm raised catfish from Mississippi. If you don't get their early enough you will end up in the back room like we did the last time we were there. The walls are rather stark in the back room so I would suggest painting it put some kind of hunting print on the wall or fishing for that matter. A tv would be nice as well not that you could hear it for all the noise of people talking but hey it's a family restaurant and people are enjoying themselves. It seems pricey but not really compared to other catfish places I have eaten in that the food wasn't half that good. Big bowl of coleslaw, onions, catfish and sweet tea.

Read the reviews that said the food was great. It was cold and raining so didn't want to go downtown and walk around looking for a parking place. GPS couldn't even find it. Turned out to be in a N. Little Rock neighborhood. Reviews said it had been in the same place since the 70s - I believe it. Immediately noticed a "musty smell". There is actually carpet on the walls. Decor is 70s. The owner hollers a lot. I mean a lot. But, the food is really good. They serve beer which is always a plus. The menu is limited but the catfish fillets are fantastic as well as the slaw, fried okra, fries and hush puppies.Onion rings were pretty good as well but on the greasy side. It was a kinda weird experience but the food was really good. Waitstaff is attentive. Not sure that I would take someone there but the food is really good. It's time for a facelift though.Perfect for takeout!

Some of the best catfish around, in a low-key location. Don't have to get dressed up, and my granny loves it!
