“Boring”

There was a shop that was more interesting than the Village. The owner was good to talk to. She knew alot about these indians.

“Native American History”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

Wonderful location to go if you're into native American history. And they even have a so called "artifacts dig" location for the kids (be aware...you are not going to actually dig and find real artifacts...it is for fun and something to do...) The different points of interest here are (1) the mounds, (2) ancient pottery in the museum, (3) the wealth of historic items in the "shop". If you go here with the goal to see a bit of 1,000 plus year old American history...you will not be dissappointed. If you are headed here to dig for diamonds...don't waste your time!

“FUN SHOPPING”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

We enjoyed shopping here, and the employees were very helpful.Due to the condition of Diamond Johns Riverside retreat we had to find a air conditioned clean place to stay and they told us about the Shamrock hotel and were sympathetic to our circumstances.

“neat place to stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

We stopped here after not finding any diamonds at the state park. The Native American history here is great. We paid $25 for a bucket filled sand that had polished rocks, arrowheads, shark teeth, and a tiny diamond. Our 9 year old son loved sluicing through it for his treasures.
