You can believe all the wonderful things in the previous reviews. I had room 9, which is the upstairs suite, and couldn't have been more comfortable. The charm and ambiance exceeded the B&B's I stayed in at the Cotswold s, at half the price. You can easily stroll everywhere in town, enjoy the view from the porch or large garden in back, and walk across to the park to listen to the music.

The hosts are welcoming and gracious, and know a great deal about the area. I felt right at home in their elegant and historical residence, and found it to be perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the state.

I will definitley return and stay here again.

Loved the INN at Mountain View. Very quaint, lovely large old home. The innkeepers, Mark & JoAnn, are very personable and make you feel right at home. The inn is very comfortable, with common area for visiting and meeting the other guests. The large parlor had a roaring fire while all everyone sat around talking and watching football. The sun room offers hot tea or coffee whenever you're ready for some. The front porch offers a view of the town - which is only a block or so away from the cute drug store with the old time soda fountain, and homemade fudge shop also nearby. The full country breakfasts served from large round tables with lazy susan's were fabulous!

This was my wife and I's twelth stay at the Inn at Mountain View in the last four years. Our first stay there was quite by accident. We had made reservations at the Widflower B&B first, but with all the motorcycles that were in town that first weekend and the fact that the bedrooms at the Wildflower were located on the street, we had a hard time getting any sleep. We went looking for another place and found a room at the Inn at Mountain View. That was the luckiest find of our lives. The innkeepers have been like family to us. The food is wonderful, the music that they play is great and the whole experience there has been fantastic.

The innkeepers play folk music with guests daily on the front porch after breakfast. We had such a wonderful time! With the full country breakfast we didn't even need lunch.

I remember The Inn from years ago. My wife and I would go to Mountain View with friends for the Ozark Mountain folk festival. The Inn just seemed to fit in with the whole experience, not overly lavish but comfortable. The breakfast was really good with fresh muffins, apple crisp, biscuits and gravy and a variety of juices, coffee and milk. Served buffet style at a lazy susan table big enough for all of the guests. A nice big fireplace with plenty of comfortable chairs placed around and large porch outside were perfect for lounging around. At dusk everyone would gather around a bonfire in a empty lot nearby and play music and enjoy the cool, crisp nights. We are going back for a visit. Hope things have not changed much !!
