We had a great time during our visit at Anglers White River Resort. Chirs and Julie made us feel like family from the time we arrived. The rooms were clean and recently redone with new paint, carpet, tile and flat screen TV. The food was outstanding, with Chris giving it his personal touch to make sure it was just what you ordered. For the price the package plan is the way to go. It is a great value for your money and the customer service is beyond reproach. Make sure you ask for Dean Harmon for your fishing guide! We fished with Dean for a day and a half. We fished for browns the first morning and caught several nice browns up to 21 inches. That afternoon we fished for rainbows and caught about 40. The next afternoon we fished for rainbows and caught at least 50. An exciting time on the river. Make sure you have Chris prepare his fried cheesecake for your dessert. It is beyond delicious and worth the drive just for it.

If you want to catch large numbers of quality trout on the White River then Angler's White River Resort is where you need to be; you can spend more money in several other places along the river but you will not catch more fish or consistently bigger fish anywhere. We fished two days with Jason on this trip and even with extremely tough water conditions managed to catch 50 plus fish each day and produce daily bag limits of one pound average fish each day. Angler's White River Resort with their all inclusive fishing packages is by far the best value for your money anywhere along the White River. Owners Chris and Julie make you feel right at home, the food is outstanding, the motel accomadations are clean and comfortable and Jason Brown is one of the best fishing guides on the river; period. This was our third trip to Angler's and it truely was like going home. Thank you Chris, Julie, Jason and the entire Angler's staff for making our annual trip to Angler's our most anticipated vacation each year. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next summer.

God Bless,

Joe & Jami Lovelady

We stayed at Angler's 4 nights, and had a great time. The fishing was great, even though the river was up a bit from the the recent rains. Our guide, Jason, was incredibly patient and knowledgable. Definitely worthwhile to take a guided trip at least once while there. Everyone at the resort - owners Chris and Julie, their precious daughter Ruth, the rest of the family and staff - went out of their way to make sure every possible need was met. I don't recall ever experiencing such outstanding customer service as we enjoyed during our stay at Angler's. The room was rustic but clean; just what you would want for a fishing trip, and the proximity to Blanchard Springs/Cavern makes it a must-see while there.

Room Tip: The loft rooms give you a great view, and very convenient to the restaurant.

Family vacation with husband, myself and our 13 yr. old son Mike was not turning out that well for our week in Arkansas, but our last stop was at Angler's and that made up for everything that went wrong before we arrived. We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable, everyone at Angler's went above and beyond to make it a wonderful stay. We booked a 1/2 day fising guide with Dean, I had read the reviews before we booked and the reviews about Dean really impressed me. Dean was wonderful, when our 1/2 day was up we asked to upgrade to a whole day tour because it was so much fun. Dean really made our trip unforgetable. The rooms are not fancy, but the small family owned feeling you get is great.

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms have abetter view of the river.

The owner, Chris McCollum, was super hospitable to us during our stay. The day before our arrival to go fishing on the White River it stormed, the temperatures dropped, and the river was not a happy place to go boating, but Chris accommodated my husband and my son with a fantastic guide, Jason.
In spite of the cold, rough weather they were able to catch their limit of rainbow trout! My 6 year old son was extremely happy.

Hubby and I were attending the Bluegrass festival held in mountain view.
It was our 15th anniversary and decided to give Mountain View a try instead of Branson, and it is closer home.
Tried several places and they would not allow a one night stay during a festival.
Lucked out and they made an exception , since they had a cancellation for their 1 bedroom cabin.
The cabin is right next to the office and sits on the banks of the white river.
The cabin has a queen bedroom with a tv and a door that opens to the back over looking the river.
It features a full bath, but it is extremely small and would be hard for a larger person to use comfortably .
The shower head was also very low, but the bathroom was clean.
There is also a small living room and tiny kitchen.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable and has second rate sheets and comforter .
The cabin walls and ceiling is lined with pine ,
The cabin was fairly clean, just really cramped.
But is really well priced for having a kitchen and living room.
I felt they could have cleaned the windows , and blinds better.
And the restaurant attached to the resort is not as good as a few reviews that I read.
It too , needed to clean the windows , so that patrons can enjoy the beautiful view of the white river.
