“Wonderful & impressive cavern”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

We love the area where the Cave is located, it is a small town Arkansas called Mountain View which is very beautiful in the Fall with all the foliage colors. The cave itself is merely 11 miles north of town. We took the short (1 hour) tour, went down 22 stories underground, the cave is huge. The "roof" in some places are 60-70FT high, and between the 2 main chambers, it could accommodate 3 football fields. What's neat about this cave is that it is a "living" cave, it is still active as far as formations, such as the stalactites, stalagmites, etc. The drip stone cave tour takes place on pavement the entire way so it is easy to take a stroller to (our youngest is 1 yr old). The lighting is incredible, and the forest ranger is very knowledgeable. We had a great time. Afterwards, we spent several hours touring the nearby town of Mountain View doing sight-seeing.

“Lovely Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

I liked the caverns and drip cave tour. The caverns are huge and expansive, our guide Debora was so nice and knowledgable, the tour number of 30 people seemed too big but was fine once we were in here. The tour started on time which was nice. The hour went by pretty fast, although I did not appreciate the 1 year old twins on the tour screaming and generally kinda being a nuisance, but that was not the cavern people's fault, just avoid tours with babies. I liked these caverns just as much as Kertchner Caverns in Tucson Arizona. Blanchard springs caverns were gorgeous.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

Visited the Caverns on Sunday 10/21/12 for the 2 30 pm tour. Temperature is a constant 58 degrees so you might want to bring a light jacket. It is a magnificent display of nature which was over 100 years in the making and is still evolving! Got some really great pictures and the tour guide was great!

“Cool Cave”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

I took the 1 hour tour of the cave. It is a guided tour with some information about the cave. They offer some other more strenuous tours that go into the lower levels of the cave(seasonal). The cave has some beautiful formations and is located in a remote mountainous area.it's worth a visit

Love the caves. There are a couple of choices on which tour you want to go. I love them both. One is definitely more challenging. Always a nice place to go in the hot summer, because it stays very cool in the caves.
