Description: Enjoy a delicious meal in the rustic warmth of Mather Lodge's main dining room. Large windows frame the view of rugged Cedar Creek Canyon, scenery highlighted each evening by a dramatic sunset. A meeting room (50-person capacity) that can also accommodate small banquets is nearby. This recently renovated portion of Mather Lodge mirrors the 1930s Adirondack-style architecture of the original portions of this historic treasure that were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and expanded by the Works Progress Administration. The main dining room seats up to 104 persons. The restaurant is open daily.

My husband and I truly enjoy our visits at the Mather Lodge at Petit Jean State Park. It is a short drive from Little Rock. The facility is beautiful. The menu offers something for everyone taste. Prices are affordable. Actually cheaper than most restaurants in Little rock. When you walk into the Lodge, you are greeted with a smile from the information desk clerk. Then another smile from the Hostess, who seats you. The waitresses are all friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions. The cook really takes the time to prepare each dish beautifully and prepares wonderful homemade deserts. Why not give it a try and spend quality time with a family member?
Thank, The Paxton's from Little Rock AR.

We love to go to Petit Jean Lodge for lunch and have been going for years
We have our two grandsons with us for two weeks ad we took them to lunch there and are we glad we did!
The Resturant has been struggling since they remodeled and reopened
All four of us ordered something different and everyone was unanimous that the food was great
Deserts tasted like they were made from scratch and were they good
We had a great server named Caitland who was just great! She liked her job and knew her menu and was attentive enough to keep everything moving along! A far cry from the surly servers who were there when the Lodge reopened
I cannot reccomend this lodge Resturant enough! Finally!

Thank Elo4

This was the second year we visited Mather Lodge restaurant as part of our annual "explore Arkansas' scenic byways" motorcycle vacation.

We had no problems with staff or seating. The hostess was quick to seat us, both at dinner and at breakfast. Our waitresses were very attentive. As always, the food was great. Not a huge number of menu choices, but the food they serve is very good. Frankly, it would have to be very good for one to even notice, since the views from the restaurant are incredible.

The restaurant was clean and we didn't have to wait long to get a server, however it took over 35 min to get our food which consisted of a Rueben sandwich and a Patty melt. The server apologized for the delay in our order coming out. Looking out the windows the beautiful scenery more than made up for the food delay! My wife really liked the Rueben.....

Great view, great food, great service after getting seated.

When we checked we were told about a 30 minute wait, no problem. Later we were told we were next. Then they sat 2 parties of 2 at tables for 4 and that our party of 4 would have to wait for a table for 6 because they didn't seat parties of 2 at 6 seat tables...........what? So party of for just waits until it suits them, we were't offered the 2 table!
