Beautiful place. The owners are really nice people. Delicious coffee and tea. I really enjoyed the lemon pie. Is a must!

The authentic and modern design and renovation of this palafito by its owners is a new, refreshing cultural must-see in a tour through the south of Chile. The warm, wood-paneled interior welcomes visitors with interesting historic and contemporary photography, as well as great coffee, terrific service (and tips for Patagonia travelers!) and amazing views of the Bay of Castro, along the waterfront of this small island city. Whether beginning your day of sightseeing or taking a break from daily routine, this lovely cafe and art gallery is a joy to the eyes and soul.
Freshly made Lemon Meringue Pie-- a Chilean staple-- and espresso are delicious; salad and carrot cake excellent.
Palafito Patagonia was one of the highlights of our stay on Chiloe-Check it out!
