Amazing church with bright yellow and purple colors. Enjoyed watching it from the out side while people were praying inside.

One of the biggest Church, completed restored, outside the yellow bright color surprise and the incredible wooden work inside is an opposite sensation of calm and show you one of the best of all the churches in the island, don't miss it if you go to Castro.

Gaudy exterior, gorgeous interior! If you only go to one church on the island of Chiloé, make it this one. It's fully restored, inside and out and stunning. Two thumbs up! Bring a panoramic camera if you can.

In all Chiloe there is a plenty of wood churches, everywhere. 16 of them have been declared Humanity Patrimony by Unesco. Although Castro is the 'capital' of Chiloe, and a very interesting city, the church itself was a bit disappointing after Achao and Quinchao ones, which are much more beautiful...

The outside is truly breathtaking. The colors are gaudy and perfect. Now I have to back and see the inside
