We had a great stay at this motel, with both friendly staff and very clean rooms with mini fridge, microwave and plenty of outlets, would recommend this motel when in Mena. We were on vacation and arrived late. there was a restaurant on sight but due to our late arrival it was closed, but the lady at the desk recommended a place to eat and it was very good.

Room Tip: we had a king room and it was very quiet

I have stayed at the Limetree Inn off and on for ~17 years. It's not part of a chain (big PLUS for me as I like variety). The rooms are priced low and include a good t.v., mini-fridge, microwave, good beds, and there is a good quality buffet-style restaurant on the premises - cheap, good, simple home-cooking style food. The Limetree is quiet and they seem to have resolved the smoking vs non-smoking issue by building a separate building for the "smoking" rooms. Easy access to all rooms. Generous parking lot for those towing a small trailer or boat. Great location to enjoy nearby recreational sites. Marty, the manager, was extremely helpful to my husband and I on our last visit. We were traveling for the State of Texas and I forgot to get a proper receipt for reimbursement. Mary was kind enough to mail me a copy. Great little gem of a motel.

After our camping trip we chose this Inn to enter back into civilization.
The price was average, service was nice, but we did not get the chance to try their food.
Unfortunately, they do not offer complementary breakfast.
The beds were comfortable and the shower had the best water pressure.
Also the walls were thick enough were no outside noises were heard.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, it is a small town older hotel as most all the hotels in Mena are. We were there for an overnight stay after driving the Talimena Scenic Highway. The hotel was sold out the night we stayed and the noise went on until very late.. Lots of motorcycle groups there. However, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I do feel that for the quality and the age of the property (room doors still use regular keys) that they are overpriced, $100 a night is just way too much. We stay in very nice cabins just outside of town when we are there to ride ATVs that cost less, but I would stay there again if there weren't other options.

I had booked 3 rooms for family and after the 1st night we thought it would be nice to have at least 1 room on the lower floor for everyone to come to since climbing stairs was something Dad couldn't do. So when I asked about it they were very accommodating and moved all 3 rooms to the lower level all next to each other. ( This was even on a weekend when they were very busy)We were able to move chairs outside and sit and visit and then go to restaurant and have very enjoyable meals. The employies at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful in putting tables together to accommodate all of us.
This helped very much to make our reunion a very rememberable time!

We stayed at the Limetree in twice a year. On Sept. 30th my wife left her coin purse
with her ID, credit cards and at least $200 cash. By the time we noticed the loss, we called
the Limetree and their employee not only found it, but they were trying to contact us.
We received the purse in the mail today. It's nice to know there are honest people left.
The Limetree is also a great place to stay for the price. I asked if they had fried okra. It
wasn't on the menu, but the lady said they had some in the back and fried me up a batch.
It was great. You don't get service like this often enough. Thanks. Rex and Janet Bell

Budget motel, but no major problems. Only complaint was a musty (smoking?) odor in a non-smoking room. Otherwise clean and comfortable. The diner is not a plus; OK in a pinch but better options elsewhere in town.
