Jean and I ate here one night in March. She had been here once before with friends of ours who own a condo close by and enjoyed her meal, so I went. The atmosphere is very nice, though if you want to sit outside you are on a platform built out into a parking lot on the side of busy road. Lots of street noise therefore. In addition, the mosquitos are plentiful and when the waitress brings you a can of bug spray you know its not an unusual event haha.
To start, I ordered the buffalo wings to start. They were described as having a honey glaze so I knew what I was getting, but still I thought they may have some buffalo heat to them. Not the case and for the price, 4 small wings was not a good deal in my opinion. They were cooked perfectly and tasty but not was I was hoping for.
As a main course, I ordered the ribs having heard that they were very good. Again, the sauce was sweeter than I prefer, but they were meaty and good. If you are hungry, you should order 2 though because this meal will not fill you up. I had been told that the french fries were not worth ordering since you got very few. So I ordered the mashed potatoes and got what I equate to an ice cream scoops worth. Ok for a kids portion, but not an adult.
The beer was cold and that was a good thing.
Jean had a fish dinner and was very happy with that, but I will let her write her own review of that haha.
In conclusion, I've been there and done that and I don't need to do it again. Average at best to me.
