For the price point, and the location, this Comfort Inn is excellent. The room was fine, the pool was just long enough to swim some laps in (and it was very clean) and the breakfast was adequate.
I did ask for a room on the east side of the hotel, as it does seem that noise could be an issue next to the interstate. True restaurants are limited--- lots of fast food, but several Mexican choices, and Colson's Steak House was quite good. But can you believe in the year 2012 -- right next to Memphis -- that you have to sign up (for free) to "join the Colson Club" to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine!!!??? Otherwise, a dry city or county!! The City or County is still apparently run by fundamentalists that impose their personal beliefs on everyone else! And they actually employ someone with tax payer $$$ to be sure that no drink is sold to "non- club members"!!
Anyway, the hotel is fine and for the price point it is in the upper 10%.More
