I come here as our first leg of our holiday with andaman adventuures. This is a very nice resort in a very excellent location. We were going to stay in Ao Nang, thinking but seeing that we were couples, these guys told us to look for something quieter. We are glad that we listened to them because we did go into Ao Nang for the day and it was pure hectic. The Tubkaak is a superb resort with very very sweet staff members. They took really good care of us and the location is how we like it, very secluded.

3 nights in Tubkaak is the best part of this trip. Private beach, good food, nice people and service. Hope can go back soon :)

We stayed at Tubkaak last year in june and were in need of relaxation. We hardly left the hotel all week. The location on the beach was idyllic, the food in the restaurant was excellent. We had a massage and visited the markets in town during our stay. The staff were excellent and the entertainment we really loved. If you want relaxation and high quality service and facilities, we would highly recommend Tubkaak.

We ended our long stay in Thailand here after visiting many 5 star resorts and were lucky enough to be one of rate first people to try out the new Beach Pool Villa rooms. Amazing! They were really spacious, good quality furnishings and had a great view out to the sea. Private pool for us is a must and this addition here, was well received.

The resort is located out of the main tourist area and is more suited to those seeking peace and quiet. This being said, the location on the other hand is also a positive to mention as you really do have a good level of privacy and service is second to none.

Some reviews do mention the high prices, but I would suggest looking at booking half board for your stay. This way it will be cheaper for you compared to paying local hotel prices.

Great view of the sunset from the very clean beach. The beach is set up with bean bag style sun beds. Trendy and different touch.

The food was lovely for dinner and breakfast. Good selection.

I would suggest your overall stay here to be around 3-4 days.

We will definitely come back and stay here again.

My wife was completely charmed by this place from the moment we arrived. I was a little shocked by its remote location (and one does need a taxi to get to anywhere else) but the Tubkaak certainly gets under the skin and is a place to remember fondly for a long time.
Breakfast is taken at tables set well apart in the garden and virtually on the beach where the view of the large rock stacks offshore is worth a place on the front page of any travel brochure. We had good dinners here and pre dinner drinks as the sun set in front of us.
Some reviewers have said the drinks prices were excessive and greedy due to the remote location. To give some context, whilst the prices are not back street dive cheap, we thought they compared well with British hotels.
The swimming pool and garden are lovely and were never crowded during our stay.
We had a basic room and it was really pleasant - we would have no wish to move upscale if we visited again. The large bathroom including a bath and shower area "outdoors" was very special.
The staff were all very anxious to please.

This was a dream resort. The grounds were a tropical oasis, the room was beautifully done, even had a sunken bathtub and separate shower - both outside our bathroom and very private. So fun to soak in the spa tub in the outdoors! They provided a large beach bag with beach towels, robes and flip flops! We saw many breathtaking sunsets from the beach. There were Long Tail Boats you could hire from the beach to go to the nearby islands. The only negative maybe for some people was that it was not in town, So if you're looking for other things to do/restaurants - you had to take a taxi or take their 1x daily free shuttle service. The nearest town was 30 minutes away (plenty of souvenir shops/restaurants/massage parlors there) Being a resort, additional services were a bit pricey for Thailand. We saw Bangkok and Chiang Mai, & were very happy to chose this top notch resort to wind down before our long trip home. It was so relaxing and beautiful.

This resort was our last stop during our two week trip around Thailand. We stayed in many beautiful places and was not disappointed when we arrived at our last resort of our holiday. We stayed in a ground floor poolside room and it was lovely. I can't understand why there are comments stating this resort is dirty and not very private. We were right next to the pool side but found it very private and very clean. The pool was clean and very peaceful. This is not a big resort so you are only ever surrounded by two or three couple at the most at any time. Our room was fresh and clean with plenty of toiletries and clean towels at all times, plus a topped up mini bar which is always a bonus. The beach is by far the nicest on the small stretch of sand that accommodates a handful of other resorts across the stretch beach, but as Tubkaak have the nicest stretch you barely see any of those guests. The sunsets are just beautiful, and at happy hour it is the perfect time to make the most of a cool drink watching the sun go down on the oversized cushion style bean bags provided. There are two restaurants but we only ate in the thai one. We didn't really fancy Italian. Food is a little on the expensive side in comparison to outside the resort, but when you stay in 5star accommodation I think it's safe to say you should expect that. No matter what country you visit. The staff are friendly and will do all they can to help so no complaints about anything from us. Overall we had an amazing time and are planning go back again next year.

Room Tip: I can't comment on the other rooms, but ours was great! Ground floor, next to the pool, outdoor...
