Stayed a week during low-season and could definitely see myself doing that again. Lovely staff, food and service. Spacious and very clean rooms, free wifi. Very relaxing. Not for the party-seeking traveller though.
I didn't travel with children but could see that children would enjoy both pool and playground.

Chose this resort for a short break in between moving from Amsterdam to Sydney. Just wanted to have some time off, relax, enjoy the local food and warm up after a fair bit of snow during our last months in Holland. Looking back now this has probably been the most relaxing holiday I have ever been on.

It started with a refreshing welcome after our exhausting flight, fresh juice and fragrant face towels were ready for us after which the lovely staff showed us the resort and our room. We stayed in a deluxe room which does not have pool access but still has a great view of the pool area, the resort and the ocean behind it. Brand new and extremely clean, we were very happy with the room. The other facilities that we used, mostly the pool and the restaurant, were great too. Food was delicious (highly recommend the crab cakes!). The resort was still 'under construction', in the sense that they were doing a lot of gardening and planting flowers to make the gardens even more lovely than they already were. Staff were super friendly, their English is not great but they are very helpful (shuttle service to town and beach, suggestions for days out).

Only negative point for me was that because the resort is so new, there were not too many people staying there yet which meant that sometimes we were the only people in the restaurant at night. A lot of people won't mind that at all though I am sure.

All in all we had a great little holiday and I would definitely go back there, would like to see what the gardens look like now and if the restaurant has become a bit more lively.

This hotel comes as a surprise, from the elegant reception done up colors of the 4 elements, the size is a surprie when you enter. There are secluded villas with attached splash pools for families to rooms attached to the main pool. I loved that i could just walk from my drop and drop right into the pool.
I experienced my fisrt thai massage here and it was a very relaxing experience. Book in advance though as masseuse are not readily available as and when you want.
The staff is friendly and are more fluent in english than the locals, so communication was not a challenge and we booked our island yours through the hotel itself.

- the reception and the lobby are flawless with a great service of the hotel receptionists and management
- the premises are beautiful with amazing greenery (something you don't see everywhere)
- we upgraded our room to Premier room that was spectacular, with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, a private pool entrance and a huge bathroom with 3 shower ends
- furniture was new and well-designed
- we had 6 complimentary water bottles a day. However, the drinks at the pool and hotel were a bit overpriced.
- public areas, such as the gym, steam sauna, pool area, karaoke room, snooker and playroom were great extra assets
- the manager, Ms Ratanak is a great host, with excellent skills of how to manage the place and entertain the guests
- we had some small communication problems at the restaurant, sometimes got the wrong meal (some of the staff would need to get at least basics of English)
- breakfast was delicious, especially coconut jam. Wide selection of foods, cold and warm and different drinks (even special coffees)
- hotel shuttle was provided for free
- since we both are 'pool' people, we loved the pool area of the hotel though for the beach lovers we recommend Tubkaek beach
- we felt very comfortable there
