Stayed at the Sheraton, opposite, for 6 days in early March and decided to eat out a few nights - one of which took us to the Terrace, which we had seen on Tripadvisor.
The food is a good choice of Thai and European food and at reasonable prices as they do not charge the 10% service charge and 6% VAT that are applicable in the hotels.
We had Thai starters, a seafood pasta and a fish dish, plus wine which apart from the latter, were all very good.
Unfortunately they are widening the main road in front of the restaurant and the continual convoy of dusty lorries spoiled the evening somewhat, but shouldn't last more than a few weeks at the speed they were working at.
A nice restaurant if you want a short walk outside the hotel.

Staying at the beautiful Amari Vogue we thought we would escape for some cheap proper Thai food.
This place was quite inviting and the prices were ok but we still paid the equivalent of a whopping 22 GBP for a dinner a drinks for 2 and we're not big eaters. (we had a beer, a small carafe of wine, shared a starter and a rice and had 2 main courses.)
The starter came in about 3 minutes and then we waited about an hour for our main course. We were just about to ask if it had been forgotten and then it came.
The food was good. Thats about it.

Stayed at The Sheraton and the Terrace is right across the road, went their on our first night and returned 3 more times. All the dishes we ate there where very nice but our favorite was the hot pork or chicken served on a hot skillet. The staff our also very good and the food inexpensive and if we return we'll be heading their once again.

The Terrace i situated just opposite the road from Sheraton Beach Resort, so naturally the place is crowded with international guests from the resort.
The carte contains lots of dishes - it is a thai kitchen, but also western dishes are available. Selection is enormeous. We had a Gordon Bleu with french fries and tomato Salads on the side.
Was really ok.
Then with 2 mineral Waters and 2 Singha beers the bill was 970 baht for 2 persons. Very, very reasonable.
And the restaurant is cosy and tide, and staff is attentive.
