This resort is very charming, with delightful service. Ambiance and decor is typical Thai and is directly on the beach with direct access to "long-tail-boats" to visit near by small islands. I strongly recommend to book the bungalows near the pool for a best experience. Managment prepared a lovely evening for xmas eve. Wifi not working properly in the rooms. Extremely well kept and clean. Hotel is isolated and you'll need taxi to any destination, but it gives it it's charm.

If you are looking for a good and quiet place it’s the one . We got a villa jacuzzi it was close to the swimming pool and to the beach. Food is not wow but very clean and quiet. It’s close to another hotel with good and expensive restaurant. We rented a car but you still can get a tuktuk to visit all the bars next by

The rooms are of a relatively high standard, comfortable, local styled furniture, and VERY clean. Pools aren't very large and there isn't a huge number of sun lounges, however there seemed to be enough space. Breakfast is rather good; large variety of food on offer and the view offered to look out across the water whilst you eat is stunning. The restaurant by the pool is lovely, lots of different food to order, staff are attentive and lovely. The hotel also offers kayaks and paddle boards for rental however only 3 and 2 respectively - very fair rate of 150 Baht and 250 Baht and hour (respectively). Lovely stay!

Stayed here end of November after a few days in manic Bangkok. The hotel is a little isolated - a few miles outside Ao Nang beach, but compensates by having some of the best views to be found anywhere. Sitting opposite the Hong islands together with amazing sunsets, it gives you a real feel of being in Thailand.
Staff are generally very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent whilst evening meals good, but charged at ‘hotel’ rates. The hotel sits on the beach, and is very scenic at the top of the tide. When the tide recedes there are millions of little crabs rolling tiny sand balls (David A can explain), but these do not interfere with your enjoyment in any way. The sea here is incredibly warm despite the tidal movement.
For trips to the Hong islands, Railay Beach etc, go into Ao Nang where many outlets can offer competitive rates. Taxi rates back are quoted at 700 bahts, but even the most sheepish of hagglers can quickly get them down to 500.
This hotels is most suited to couples wanting a romantic break or wishing to chill out. Would love to stay here again.

Room tip: Upper room to maximise the views is best

My wife and I loved it here,we had a room with direct access to a pool. While there we chose to rent a couple of scooters 125cc at a cost of about 10 Swiss francs per day. Using the scooters gave us access to many small beaches and the town of Ao Nong where we found lots of small shops and restaurants. Swimming and snorkeling on the beaches was good but we also went on group day charters and that was very good well organized and very friendly. A couple hundred meters from the hotel is also a path up the mountain with incredible views but not an easy climb for the older person or very young. So in a nutshell the hotel was very comfortable with a quiet beach and pools the food very good, the staff very friendly and helpful and super weather.
