“A wonderful place to stay”
Reviewed August 18, 2010

This was the second time that I had stayed at Stoneleigh B&B with my wife and son aged 9. It was a lovely place to stay the first time and we were not disappointed for our second stay. It is a beautiful house with immaculately kept gardens and a beautiful patio out the back with wonderful views of the Welsh countryside. The rooms are very clean with all the usual B&B facilities (I have stayed in so called hotels with less). The bathrooms are modern and very clean, too. We all had the cooked breakfast which was cooked to perfection and filled us up and kept us going way past lunchtime. The location is about a 20 minute drive from Tenby. If all you want is to be in Tenby for the whole time, then this might not be the best place, but if you want easy and quick access to Tenby, but also have a good location to visit many other interesting places in West and Mid Wales, then this place is ideal. We are looking forward to our next stay at Stoneleigh B&B.

We have stayed at Stoneleigh 3 times now and will definatley go back and recomend it to friends & family. The Proprietors are very nice local people who live on site and are available to help with all your needs.
The rooms are lovely and spacious and are cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast is always freshly cooked and there is plenty of choice.
The village is nice and quite with a couple of local shops and a train station, but still within a close distnace to various attractions.
Overall the B&B is a great place to stay for any occasion.

My wife Penny and I have just come back from from a few days away in West Wales and we stayed with a delightful couple Megan & Syral who are retired farmers and run the "Stoneleigh Bed & Breakfast" (and what a scrumptious breakfast it was as well) in Clunderwen, Pembrokeshire, West Wales, easy reach for lots of locations, activities & beaches.
The whole house was spotless, the room a good size with a really nice en-suite and the large breakfast came to out table piping hot.
To say this B&B represents VERY GOOD value for money falls somewhat short in describing such a really nice couple with a ready laugh, helpful accurate local advise, with a very genuine warm welcome and you are really made to feel you are part of the family without being fussed over if you know what we mean.
So next time you are looking for a "nice place to stay" even if its a little away from where you are looking, believe us its well worth the effort.
Ian & Penny Croucher.

What more can we say, from the moment we drove upto the B&B the owners Megan and Cyril were fantastic, excellent location, great food, super bedroom and bathroom. They made us feel so welcome (we didn't want to leave!) Our 22month old son was treated so well, he had a lovely time too. This B&B is situated in a very handy position, close to local ammenities of Narbeth and the surrounding areas.
Once again we can't thank you enough for making our stay such a pleasant one, we shall be back in the very near future :-)
