Premier Inn is definitely the best budget hotel chain around. Stayed here and couldn't fault any part of it - impeccable cleanliness and service, would recommend to anyone. The breakfast was the best we've ever had, absolutely cooked to perfection.

We recently stayed two nights at this premier inn as we were attending a wedding at hop farm. I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It has recently been refurbished and was done very nicely. End was comfortable and the room was clean. One minor point was that on the second day we on,y received one large and one small towel between the two of us but this is easily resolved with a call to reception.

Staff were lovely and helpful. For 60 gbp a night including breakfast at the pub (luckily MIT a beefeater) next door I thought it was great value.

Lovely comfortable room as always and refurbished. Downfall was breakfast oh what a shambles- had to ask for items from the buffet and plates as run out and when cooked breakfast arrived just luke warm and raw sausages. Only one person serving 40+ covers, Breakfast area still dirty from previous evening.

Arrived late afternoon for our 1 night stay on route to Eurostar the following day and were greeted by a lovely, friendly receptionist and checked in without any fuss or delay. Our room was excellent - recently refurbished and really spacious (even with the two singles and HUGE double that our family room included) and very clean throughout. Our boys were particularly impressed with the super-sized, wall-mounted flat screen TV that hung opposite their beds!
The fact that the room was also equipped with a hair dryer, complimentary drinks tray, kettle and free wifi was just a bonus to this already super little hotel.
We booked a number of weeks in advance and got the room for only £35 and with kids eat free at breakfast, we seem to have found a gem and will definitely be returning.
Clean, stylish rooms, excellent rates and friendly, eager to help staff - what more could you want?!

Excellent stay. Room recently refurbished and was very clean and luxurious. Also surprisingly spacious. Reception staff were very friendly. We booked in advance so only paid £36 per night (for a family room). Amazing value. Much better than many other more expensive hotels we've stayed at. Only downside no air con but a fan is provided. Would definitely recommend.

Spent an overnight stay at this Premier Inn it was spotless. They offered top sheets to use because it was hot and a fan was on when we arrived. The meal we had in the pub attached was very, very good and very reasonable. I would recommend.

What I like about Premier Inns is you always get the same comfortable and spacious room wherever you are, particularlyso in the recent refurbed and upgraded rooms complete with super king size Hypnos beds - very nice!. As usual everything was clean and well presented and the 42" flat screen telly was a bonus. It was a very hot night and no air con but a fan was proveded. We slept very well. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles - they seem to have moved away from the help yourself buffet to waitress service for a cooked breakfast. I don't mind this but on our particular morning one harried waitress was doing her best to cope with 50+ covers. Poor woman...
