They bring you this lovely warm bread with real thick creamy butter and garlic butter before your starter. Now this is so heavenly you may be tempted to ask for more- but don't, as you must save room for the mains
I challenge anyone to find a better lamb shank or beef brisket in Yorkshire. Both so succulent and juicy- no knife needed- you could cut this up with a spoon.
Great portions and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Fun space, relaxed and welcoming.
Only reason I wouldn;'t give it 5/5 is the desserts- they are good but not life changing. The crumble was a little hard. But the local ice-cream served with most desserts is lovely and creamy.
I will without a doubt be returning regularly and look forward to checking out the sister restaurant- The Tanglewood.
