We were a party of eight on a Labor Day weekend....lunch. I knew we could have trouble when 25 guys from Entergy we all sitting around waiting on there food. They had been there two hours. We ordered fried eggplant for appetizers( went
just for the fried green tomatoes but they took it off the menu). They
were super greasy and bitter. Our drink orders weren't right and we never got silverware or napkins til the end. One salad with the side of grilled shrimp(8.95 extra) came with only four small shrimp and missing half of the ingredients listed on the menu. One order had to be dairy free and the put clarified butter on the bun( why not dry). The fried catfish poboy was ok and extra sides were order and not delivered. Ok, we were in the middle of nowhere, but come on it is the south that is suppose to have great food. With a little cleanup and more help and a new chef this could be a decent spot. It is on a lake you can see from some of the tables. Skip the dining and go shop at the fabulous Paul Michael Company. At least you'll get your money's worth.

The food is fabulous! I love the Snapper and the Grilled Salmon as well as the steaks (No sauce required!).

I really enjoy stopping here for lunch or for supper. The only meal they miss is Sunday Night.

They have "light entertainment" Fri & Sat night. They also have two dining rooms open if your in the mood for a quiet meal.

My wife loves the Grilled Catfish w/ Fresh Asparagus, Though she has her eye on the Feature sheet if we come through on Thu, Fri or Sat night.

Well worth the stop if you near Greenville, MS or passing through Lake Village, AR (this is where the locals recommend people who say they want the best food around).

It's worth going out of the way, especially if your traveling with your wife. You can take her up the street to Paul Michael's after you eat and she can do some shopping. That place has everything decorative a woman could want.
