The park itself is pretty, and all but the end of camping area A have new bath houses and are very nice. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful. We camped in an rv with kids which brings me to my negatives. The nice beautiful playground is in an open field not near any of the campsites and in direct sunlight all day. We played there at 9 am and only stayed about 10 min. It was unused every time we drove by. There is no designated swimming area so the kids would just go down below our camper and swim. Moat of the banks are very rocky, or loaded with brush and I was constantly afraid of the snakes. There are no biking trails, just one small nature trail. At the points of camping spots A & B, most of the sites are steep drop offs, not good for kids. Next time, we will check out the other campgrounds.
