We were a group of 5 and everybody enjoyed their food. The chicken ``Cordon Bleu`` is definitly worderful!!! The 3 steaks was great with a lot for what you pay! Mi friend enjoyed very much his mero (fish) The owner is germain and he certainly knows how to get his meat ; because the major problem in Dominican Republic is that the butchers do not know how to cut the meat but at the Costera it is very - very tender! Service was only ok because it seems the girl was starting.
The important is that it is a restaurant to put on our agenda for more than one visit per season.

why cant all restaurants be like this..we stopped by for the rib special which was advertised on the board outside with beans and potatoes..we were expecting small riblets and potion..was we wrong !!..we got a small bowl of a chicken/garlic soup and bread for starters..i guess compliments of the owner as it wasn't advertised with which was home made and really nice. The ribs are the best i have had here and i have had a few..tender and meatiest i've ever had along with home made BBQ beans with onion and salami, along with seasoned cowboy roasted potatoes that melted in your mouth..i have to say THE best meal so far in SOSUA and for only 190 pesos !!!! i would happily pay twice and more for this meal..we went on to have home made apple pie with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate mousse which was delicious.Service was first class and meal was out in no time..red hot and looking good. How can such a place so small and out of the way have such good quality food when a larger more prominent restaurant in the main strip serves you second rate pub grub from a can for twice the amount.(read other reviews!!)..This place is a MUST to visit and both myself and my wife will be back tomorrow and many times more
