Our family of four received the royal treatment over the New Years holiday. I can't imagine a better setting on this fine stretch of beach. The condo was spacious and well-appointed, with a palm-framed view of the sea. The terrace led right onto the beach, the surf rolling in perhaps 50 feet away.
We soaked up the sun and watched the colorful kite surfers do their stuff in the distance. The restaurant row on the beach is perhaps a five-minute walk, and the food and ambiance are simply outstanding. A great value too. For grocery needs, the local supermarket is also a five minuets walk down the main street. We enjoyed the local flavor wherever we went.
There is no pool, which might be a drawback for some, but a positive for me. No pool means fewer kids and less noise. It also puts the building closer to the beach. And since the beach is narrower in this area, you're closer to the water here than from any of the other luxury condos that have sprouted up on the other, western side of Cabarete beach
. There are cheaper condos further to the east some quite nice, but not of this quality, and not within an easy walk of the many beachfront restaurants. This condo can't be beat for beauty, value and location. For a place this beautiful and great location, you would pay somewhere between 2 to 4 times for other condos in cabarete what a night here costs. We left Cabarete already thinking about our next visit. I will certainly be back.
