I know they are catering to the tourists who don't know any better but $20 bucks?! I enjoyed it but i would have enjoyed it better if it were priced better. Good to do once if you don't mind spending the $$

Caves were great, skip the bird/boat tour as we didn't see any birds and the guide seemed more interested in us than talking about what we were seeing.

We loved this tour and our tour guide Milton was very informative and friendly. He took us for a jungle tour first and we learned about the different trees and fruits growing. He even showed us two iguanas fighting with each other for territorial space under a space in a log. Cute!
The first cave goes 82 feet deep and before you hit the dark cave he showed us sacrificial alter area for voodoo. Neat! The first cave is deep and dark and you can swim at the very bottom. We had the guide turn the lights out, while swimming, it was spooky. Then there are 2 other caves to see. I loved this tour. It cost $20 each. It cost us $30 round trip for a taxi and we were about 15 minutes away from the caves. The taxi man waited there for us, the tour took 1.5 hrs. The resorts do not offer this as part of an excursion. Taxi was quite safe. Worth every penny.

Spent a wonderful, information filled couple hours with Wilson, our guide and his two helpers Marco and Bailey. The flora is very interesting, swimming in the caves is amazing, wandering the river out to the lagoon is very relaxing. Get a taste of history and present life and have fun while doing it. Beautiful surroundings and a chance to go caving & swimming... A great day trip!

This was a nice change of pace from the beach, the caves are large enough to be comfortable for those with a touch of claustrophobia, and a dip in the cool water of one of the caves was very refreshing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable.
