“Nothing like eating fresh fish on the beach!”
Reviewed December 29, 2011

We had the grilled fish with coconut sauce and rice on the side. It was delicious, but they only put sauce on half the fish--it would have been better smothered in sauce. The location on the beach can't be beat.

“We liked it, until my mom got sick...”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

We had a delicious meal here, taking advantage of the nightly special that was offered. There were very few people dining out during the week before Christmas and I'm afraid that some of my mom's fish, shrimp or juice from her drink were not fresh as she ended up vomiting for most of the night.
My husband and I found our dinners (also fish, shrimp and lobster) to be delicious, if a little bland. We also were given rice and some over-steamed vegetables.
Service was attentive, as there was only one other occupied table.
It's too bad, but one bad shrimp can ruin an experience.

“Very nice resto on the beach in Cabarete”
Reviewed November 24, 2011

Was down to visit family in Cabarete and stopped in for a meal on the beach. Good prices and food and fast service. The only downer was a female begger named Chupa that wont leave you alone. Beggers while eating is a real turn off. But the resto and people are great. Hopefully Chupa will be gone when I visit my family next month.

“pretty good....”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

we ate there the first night... we picked our own lobster, that was 2lbs & they prepared it excellently. it was a little pricey, but we got a 2lb lobster for about $40 USD - no matter what, that's a deal! The rest of the meal was eh, the atmosphere is nice, its right on the beach. but it was missing something to make it awesome.

“Tourist Trap”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

Big Lobster tank outside is the main draw, one would expect a Caribbean Seafood restaurant to be good due to freshness but somehow this joke of a place messes it up. Tacky plastic tables and chairs with table cloths on, surly, arrogant wait staff who spend more time whistling at the local prostitutes. Everything comes out with terrible re heated vegetables, dry Rice and soggy fries. Overpowering oily Garlic sauce. Horrible lighting, no music apart from Beach musicians who they seem to welcome into the establishment who go round playing and then asking for money. No ambiance. Food takes hours to be served and isn't very good when it is. Not particularly cheap. Rubbish
