A friendly, enjoyable and amusing nice mix of westerners and English speaking Thais. Only food on offer are delicious toasted sandwiches, but local 'fooderies' will deliver to the bar of you want to eat something more substantial. The decor is varied and interesting, ranging from 'Beatles' album covers, to one of those plastic horns from the S.African olympics. Large selection of English language books, too. Spent a very merry hour or so here. Bar forms one of the outside walls, so seating is both on the street & inside.
Tam is the host, and makes everyone welcome, even if your not Scots. There is a wide range of music so you can ask for a track or even an album and get it played for you.
Beer is "ice" cold and most spirits can be found.
There is no food but nobody goes to the Corner to eat anyway.!!!
Be there on a "Party" night and be prepared to drink as the bell hardly stops ringing.
This small bar was a good find. It's nice to sit at the bar which is open to the street. It's a great place, mostly frequented by expats and people with an interest in bikes. The owner is very friendly and he plays good music that is not too loud. I was amused to see they sell pickled eggs.
