“Loud but nice”
Reviewed May 29, 2014 via mobile

I was staying in the smaller building called tinidee inn, for only 580 baht per night. Even if you're staying here you can use all the facilities of the big hotel. The swimming pool, hot spring pools and the pool area with comfortable sunbeds and free wifi makes this a great place to relax. You can also use the gym and go for a yoga class free of charge. The rooms are big, clean and bright, the staff is great but doesn't sleek much English. Usually loud at night, bring earplugs! :) I keep coming back to this place!

I stayed at Tinidee for one night after crossing the border from Myanmar. While I found the hotel a bit overpriced and internet did not work well in my room, I enjoyed my day there and it was definitely a good option to relax. The pool area is nice, the gym also pretty good. The best thing at Trinidee was an excellent service, this is why I also want to give it a high rating. While friendly staff, free transfers to airport can be considered standard for a hotel in this category, my personal highlight was the handling of my e-book reader that I forgot in the room. The hotel manager, who traveled to Bangkok a week after my stay, took it and left it in a safe place for me to pick up, while informing me on time about all details. I really appreciated this service, especially since the device was a dear companion through all of my trip and I would not have had the opportunity to come back to Ranong to pick it up personally. Many thanks!

Tidy hotel. We booked it because we couldn't connect with the Koh Phayam ferry the same day. Rooms were fine. Breakfast 'ok'. We found it rather far from most other restaurants (walking), which limits you to the hotel one, or an overpriced Japanese restaurant just next door (adequate food, but barely, for the price).

The staff at reception are very friendly, however, and helpful.

About 20 min from harbor but, as another reviewer said, 'who cares?'. What's 20 min? Still easy to get to with a taxi.

Got a cheaper rate with an on line booking agency.

If you're a traveler en route to another placer, it's fine for one night.

We are couple and stayed here for 2 nights, we couldn't go anywhere around because we didn't have a car. Everything was simple for the price that we paid. We didn't like the location of the hotel. The breakfast was also simple not many choices.

Rooms are quite nice, service pleasant, good gym with sauna, but the best is the lovely big pool with some smaller hot spring pools. Good location not far from restaurants and mid town. But far from the harbour but who cares. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room with a view over the pool

After reading the reviews here, I asked for a room on the quiet side. There is however a generator running whole day and night on the supposedly quiet side, my windows were so old, they could not close.

The hotel was quite run down anyway with a tacky interior.

People were friendly, wifi not available in my room (some router problem so they said) but in the lobby and in the pool area it was fine, the pool was nice, the breakfast was good too, just a few choices for Thai food but all were tasty.

Overall way too expensive for what was offered.
