View from room is great. Infinity pool is beautiful, too.
But, other areas are somewhat disappointing. Considering price per night, interior of room and bathroom tried to look like modern minimalism but felt like materials used were not so luxury. Breakfast buffet was below average. Check-in process is not so good either. You wait ‘til 3 pm to check in. Normally, 5 star hotels don’t do that. I ordered room service for two and bunch of silverware for two persons were wrapped around in just one table napkin. No conditioner were offered in amenities. I think price needs to be lowered by 25 percent to justify overall experience of staying in this hotel. Sorry :(

This hotel was originally built by the founder of Hyundai Group and rebuilt by his family with the help of the renowned architect, Richard Meier. This hotel is relatively small boutique hotel but its room is spacious and the facility is not crowded. My family stayed in a corner suite for 3 days in February and it was wonderful experience. My kids enjoyed outdoor swimming pool filled with hot water.

Architect richard meier built this hotel on the rocks. Phantastic view to the ocean.
Sometimes there is sea-fog and the you can hardly see the water - for some minutes only.
Very big, clean, modern suites
Big infinity pool on top. Some small seafood-restaurants in walking distance.
For dinner I recommend the restaurant at the hotel: Chefs Table, a la carte
Massage at the Spa $ 180

The approach to the property is clean and well kept, and upon entrance the lobby is impressive, spacious and minimalist/industrial in design.

Staff are very accommodating especially to myself being a foreigner with little Korean language apart from the basics, and also extremely helpful as we were travelling with an 18 month old baby.

The rooms are fantastic and spacious which is unlike other hotels in Korea and views are great from the balcony especially if you are facing the ocean. Everything was clean and to the highest of standards and the free mini bar we had was a nice added extra. Beds extremely comfortable, room service food very good.

The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of both western and Korean foods and certainly helped to get each day off to a good start.

Great infinity pool on the 5th floor again with good views and ample sun loungers and beds for everyone. There is also an indoor pool and gym which we didn’t use but looked decent.

Overall a great luxury get away in a tranquil area of Korea, only 2 hours by KTX from Seoul. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back.

The hotel is wonderfully designed Richard Meier. The lobby is really beautiful. The room has wonderful view of the beach. The only complain I have is that i dont understand why the TV is there. We requested the TV to be removed for the time we were there but they couldn't do that. Breakfast is good but not over the top. Overall it was a good stay.
