I was impressed with the amenities and cleanliness inside the room. The paintings are in good taste, good color, the furniture are nice and appropriate. However, we were so frustrated with the service, specially with the food. Our breakfast was served late and the menu was not appropriate for breakfast. There must be somebody, an expert with food preparation and service, and not relying only those things with the students under on-the-job training. They didn't know what we were asking and looking for.

Room Tip: Rooms inside the garage area are I think quieter.

Well, dubbed as the Manny Pacquiao hotel, Roadhaus Hotel offers spacious rooms. Beds are comfortable. However, it just sucks because there is nothing much to do at the hotel such as no swimming pool, gym or spa. Staff are friendly and the area is clean.

The Roadhaus Hotel in General Santos also known as Pacman Hotel because it is owned by Manny Pacquiao. They offer good accommodation for travelers. I stayed in this hotel for a night during my visit in General Santos City. Their rooms are clean and they have a small cafe/restaurant to cater to their guests. They also offer free wifi.

I had high hopes for this hotel after reading the reviews and seeing the photos. But when we were shown our room which was triple occupancy, the room was big and spacious. But the toilet had some issues with the toilet seat and cover being loose and kept dropping. After informing the management, they only tightened it but the seat and cover kept falling down. Not a good issue for a room full of guys.

Then there was the issue with the shower, the holder kept slipping the shower head down as it was loose. The aircon also had problems with the vents being opened and the louvers being spoilt so one can not adjust the position of air flow. Initially we also had problems starting up the aircon and television until we asked management to switch them on.

The last gripe was the tv, I guess they lost the remote control so to switch them on and off one has to pull out or insert the plug which was behind the stand which was so inconvenient.

Quite disappointing for the price and standard expected of the place. I hope the management or The Paquiao family do something about the maintenance or else giving it another couple of years at this rate, the hotel will be a joke and an embarrassment instead of being one of esteem.

Nice place, accessible, foods awsome, staffs comparable to other 4star hotel i've been in, and the price, what a saving. Wish management would put up additional amenities, a pool perhaps? Definitely going back next time.
