A must-visit if you are Roman Catholic. I loved the elaborate and colorful designs of the stained glass windows. It's a very nice place to visit and pray because of the serene surroundings.

Basilica of the Nuestra Senora de Penafrancia, is where "Ina" as popularly called by the Bicolanos resides. It is where she stayed almost the whole year except September comes where all Bicolanos celebrates her feast day. It is where the time she is brought to the Naga Cathedral during the Translacion every first Friday of the week in the month of September. She will stay their for a week before being brought back via water along the rivers of Naga City. They call it "Fluvial Procession", thousands of devotees witness this miraculous festivity. You will be awed and blessed by the serenity of her beauty as she sails along the river banks of the city. The Basilica was built through the efforst of then First Lady Imelda Marcos. That's why, one way or another, Bicolanos are grateful for her kindness. Many church mass are celebrated almost every hour wherever she is. For visitors, especially those religious people, it is the best to vist her during her feast day. You will witness how Bicolanos love her so much. Come and visit the Basilica. It is a must for every visitor to visit her in order to complete your journey.
