Tyche Boutique Hotel

My wife and I arrived at Legaspi airport and we were fetched by the hotel's rented but respectable van. We took the hotel's suite at the fourth floor. Because the hotel has no elevator it's a good thing that we still have strong legs, no problem. The room is big for its price. The breakfast is decent and the service is good. The hotel is ideally located. We enjoyed our three day stay. We were brought back to the airport by the same van.

me and my fiancee went to eat at tyche resto coz most of the place are closed we ordered calamares which they dont have available one, we tried ordering kinilaw na tangigue but still havent got any so we ended up ordering fish with terriyaki sauce, sweet and sour lapulapu and small squid with honey food taste really awful the fish was soggy... the service of guard is much way better than the one who serves and the chef perhaps they need to improve in the cooking not only in the ambiance

Taxi Driver took us here back from Donsol on the New Year's Day Eve. Really nice, clean and convenient Hotel near the harbor. Unfortunately all the bars and restaurants were closed because the New Year's Day. What made us very unhappy is that the Hotel started to play music loudly at midnight as to celebrate the New Year and that was so noisy that none of us could fall asleep.
Anyway, I think this is best hotel in Legazpi.

Location: Centrally located, shops and a mid-sized shopping mall are in walking distance

Room: Looks new; style is sort of Asian minimalist; quite small and not as clean as I expected; although situated in the downtown area, noise is minimal; note to management: blue lighting in the hallways are not pleasant to the eyes, 'soft yellow light is better

Reservations: it's easy and can be done over the telephone, no need to provide credit card details

Staff: friendly and accommodating

Food: taste is good but the serving is small (I've only tried the breakfast that comes with the room price)

Room Tip: Ask if there are ongoing promos. The hotel doesn't have an elevator.

It was only a last minute decision for us to stay here in Tyche because it was last minute when we discovered it online. It is a relatively new hotel located centrally in Legaspi and just a 10 minute walk (or less) away from Embarcadero. We were welcomed by the staff as early as landing the airport- they had free airport and area shuttle via their new Toyota Grandia which is a plus. So we took just the regular room, quite small but we had it at a real reasonable off-peak dicounted rate (35% off I believe). We were pleased with how the room looked- lighting, bathroom and all was great. The LCD TV and personal fridge was a plus as well. Their PILLOWS are the main highlight, they are freakingly heavenly comfortable and soft. If only I could personally steal them I would. Lol. As for the breakfast, it seemed ordinary upon looking at the options but it tasted real good that I can assure- I had my usual favorite option- Beef Tapa (the ulam proportions were small though).

Downside: they don't have elevators, and we were assigned to a 4th floor room (so request for rooms on lower floor)
Areas for Improvement: they should do something to eliminate the kitchen-like odor that would greet you upon entering the lobby

But overall even if it's not on promotion I would still be willing to stay here rather than the others because of its convenient location, and the value for the price.

Room Tip: They don't had any elevators so request for rooms on lower floor.

We came for the UK and Australia and stayed for two lots of a few days. Excellent service, good price, great room, comfortable, relaxed, fab food (lots in the Bicol tradition) and I cannot fault the staff or service. Well done.
