The park was amazing! The last time I’ve visited it was in 2000, back then you don’t have to pay an entrance fee or a parking fee. Somehow everything now in Bicol is governed by money! They will charge you more especially if you are a “ balikbayan” or your husband is a foreigner! A mentality that should be removed from the Filipino culture.... if you visit Singapore, you will be treated like the locals! There are no money grabbing people in there, that’s why the country is so advanced and tourists wouldn’t mind to hire a taxi because they are honest! Here in England, the prices are the same whether you are a tourist, local or member of the Royal Family! Hope one day it will change in the Philippines...

You will be amaze by the ruins how it was being made by the people during those times. Made of stones, comparing of today’s construction was so laborious and wonderful.

Visit Cagsawa Ruins early in the morning or late afternoon for the best view of the perfectly cone shaped Mayon Vocano. The place itself will reveal the fierceness of a volcanic eruption during the 18th century. Very interesting place with the church belfry and some rock structures as the only remainder of a once vibrant village. There are plenty of souvenirs and plant items that you can buy from the area.

Wow very interesting place, the ruins are what remains after a volcanic larva flow destroyed all that was in its path. Great souvenir shops, remember to ask for a better price. Some OFF roading to be done near by, to adventures for us, people looked like they were having fun.long drive but worth it. Enjoy
