Eating the sumptuous food here makes me feel like coming home to my reincarnated yaya who for many years cooked the best home cooked meals ( bless her heart!). If you want your palate to be tickled with the perfect blend of sour and saltiness of bopis, crispy lechon kawali and tuna dishes, come to this place. It is my kitchen away from home. If you take a jeepney, you'll see a sorta run down row of business establishments along Rizal street and you'll see the big sign on your left if you are heading to downtown Legazpi. I wouldn't describe it as hole in a wall, a lot of Legaspenos knows Cres snack Inn- but with a hole in a wall yummy food and great value. Going in, you'll be greeted with smiles and you'll start like a master of symphony with your fingers picking which one of the array of foods they serve you would want to satisty that hunger- "turo turo' style with flair of course. The prices are reasonable. What amazes me is that after many years, coming back to this place, the food is the way I had imagine it to taste in my mouth. Nevermind the hot weather, I guess most people like to just sweat it out tasting the hot soup and you'll look at your neighbors feasting. Yes, they do have airconditioning up top but not a whole of people goes up there, I noticed. Pehaps, they prefer to be closer to the line up of food so you can just use your finger again and say, one more bopis po!
