Lazea Tagaytay Inn
Ranked #6 of 104 Tagaytay B&B and Inns
Reviewed April 24, 2014

My husband and I together with our 3-year-old son spent our Holy Week in this place. Actually, the vacation was a last minute sort of thing so I looked for a place to stay few hours before we headed to Tagaytay. I decided to try Lazea based on the good feedback here. Luckily, Ms. Juliet (She's so nice! granted all of my requests :D ) accommodated us even though most hotels/inns were fully booked that time. We didn't have a hard time looking for the place and we were pleasantly welcomed by their staff. I can't forget the aromatic smell of our room and it's cleanliness when we came in. Also, I appreciated the room's interior design. We were served with delicious breakfast in a serene landscape. Even though, the surrounding area outside Lazea was quite noisy because of the basketball league and the mosque, we still enjoyed our stay there. Definitely coming back!

Room Tip: If you want a quieter room, choose the ones that are farther from the gate.

This place is great. I'll describe why.

Service- The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Although we only stayed for a few number of hours, I have to say that we we're well-attended. The manager of the hotel was also very approachable and welcoming.

Rooms- This hotel/inn is very small. All in all, there are only 10 rooms in the whole area. However, the good thing about their rooms are they are bigger that those rooms offered in larger hotels/inns. Our room is simple but gives off that modern vibe. It's also clean and well-maintained.

Location- This place is not found along the highway, so one couldn't expect to quickly find it. It is however, easier to find if one has to commute. Just get off in Olivarez, and ride a tricycle. It's that simple.

It's location also serves as an advantage particularly to those who want to have a quiet and peaceful stay in Tagaytay.

Amenities- The whole area is clean, that's very much guaranteed. Since it's a small place to stay, one couldn't expect it to have amenities like pools, spa parlor or an in-house gym. However, i think it's simplicity is one of the best things about it.

The complimentary breakfast was nicely served. I also have to agree with the previous comment that their unlimited barako coffee is something to love in this hotel.

The best thing about staying in this hotel/inn is that it is really worth the price one can pay for. It's low cost (since we have an Ensogo voucher), and its quality exceeded our expectation. However, there is just one small thing that can bother guests who will be staying here. There's a nearby construction ongoing, so the continuous sound of hammering and sawing could serve as a disturbance. However, I think that it's reasonable enough to say that once the construction is completed, the noise will also be eliminated.

Summarizing everything, the place gives you the feeling of a great and satisfying stay. Surely coming back next time!:)

The place is new, clean and easy to be found. Ms Juliet is the best, she's very accommodating and very pleasant. even i think the owner who was there also the whole night was friendly. found this through ensogo and it's really worth the price. we were here for an overnight stay before we head off to nasugbu. They also serve bulalo which is amazingly the best! The only downside i can think of during our stay here was that there's no overlooking taal and during late afternoon, we can hear from afar the mass from muslim mosque.

My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our 3rd month in Tagaytay and so we planned our one whole day trip there. We were looking for a nice and low-cost place to stay in, then we found Lazea through Ensogo - and it was all worth it! Juliet is very accommodating and since it's our first time to go to Tagaytay (and we're not familiar with the place of course) she helped us reach the place through text as it is already getting late and we could not see the surroundings anymore. The next morning, staff greeted us warmly and has served us wholeheartedly our chosen breakfast (they even serve coffee!) and the food is very tasty. Overall, the place is very relaxing. We feel very welcome and at home in here. We will go back indeed :)

the place is simple, clean and convenient. Juliet accommodated us at a short notice. One should know that you could not view Taal volcano from here but you can walk a few meters to the main road to see the smallest volcano. I love the unlimited barako coffee and the free bananas!
