“Delicious food, reasonable prices”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Ingredients were fresh and of top-notch quality. Everything was a delight!
Here's a rundown of what we had:
Gnocchi in gorgonzola- the hand-made pasta was perfect in texture, wonderfully complemented by the yummy, generous gorgonzola.
Risotto in bone marrow- perfect, soft but not mushy & still "standing". The bone marrow flavor was flavorful yet not overwhelming.
Pizza half 5-cheese half-prosciutto- perfect crust, generous fine-quality toppings. So goood!
Grilled pork tenderloin- i'm not a meat-eater & i wasn't expecting much from this dish since grilled is grilled. But boy, was I wrong. Had there been left-overs from my husband's plate I would have eaten that, too!
For dessert, we had tiramisu that was very, very fresh and truly fabulous, cherry ice cream and italian coffee--- all GOOOD!
All these with soda & freshly-squeezed lemonade for only a bit over 2k peso or around USD 50.

“Surprisingly good...”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

The family decided to eat in a small Italian restaurant in Tagaytay. The restaurant itself had a very unassuming facade, so much so, one might mistake it as one of the many small hotels in the area. Parking is available at the back, good for around 10 to 12 cars.

Inside was whole different matter. The ambiance is cozy, intimate even, the staff was very attentive, and the food was very good. The first thing that I notice upon entering the place was a wood fed brick oven, so I just had to order a pizza... any pizza, we ended up getting the prosciutto. The pizza is thin and crispy with some burnt dough (the best part). I could have eaten the whole deal we're it not for the pasta and risotto. The pasta and risotto did not disappoint, they were cooked al dente and was very flavorful.

I guess we found another restaurant worth going back to.

“real pizza”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

The only real pizza to my knowledge in the Philippines, baked to crisp in a coffee wood fed firebrick oven and with those semi-blackened dough bubbles as i ve seen them being baked in Napoli last year, also in real!!! The owner swears by authenticity and does not cut costs on tomatoes, real, yes real cheese, real herbs and on top of that, is not stingy about it. Please try the pizza con spinaci if spinach is available on the day of your blessed visit.
