It is such a wonderful place, the staffs are very polite, the service is very good and I'd probably recommend this hotel to my friends. The food is great and the ambiance is superb, I really enjoy a pleasant stay in Tagaytay City as well as my stay here in Taal Vista..

Public areas in the hotel were clean, but windows in our room were filthy. All meal options limited for veggies. Weren't told by hotel that local activities must be booked 7 days ahead,4 days too long

Room Tip: Do not take a 'garden view room'. 'Lake view is the best, comes with a balcony

Me and my fiance stayed here last March 7-9, 2014 for our 3rd anniversary and we had a wonderful time. From checking in to the dinner and to checking out everything was smooth. Upon checkin we were surprised to see the setup in the room! Our bed had petals designed into "I heart U" and we had complimentary cheesecake with "Happy 3rd Anniversary" message which made our hearts melt!

Our dinner was perfect as well. I had reserved dinner for 2 and it was setup near the fireplace. It was cold that night and having dinner by the fireplace was perfect. We love the appetizer and the steak was perfectly cooked! Thank u to the Chef who made it! The staff was great as well..very attentive to our needs. I can't thank them enough for making my dream anniversary celebration a wish come true. Most of all THANK YOU Jermaine Tungol for making everything possible!

Awesome view! Romantic getaway spa treatment was very good, particularly the spa staff. Front desk upon check in was quick and staff are friendly. After the novelty of the view faded we soon realized the shortcomings of this hotel. For the price you pay one would expect down pillows, comfortable bed with luxurious linens, not a stiff mattress and Divisoria(WalMart) specials. We had to call housekeeping for robes and to ensure the missing items from the mini bar were filled and not charged to us, on two occasions, of which no one seems to answer the phone, despite most of the tables being empty at the breakfast buffet. The food selection is mostly limited to Filipino cuisine. Dining at SM Food court is even better, we recommend you to eat out and not dine at the hotel, paying high prices for undeserving food. The breakfast buffet was average, but again not near what i would expect from a higher end hotel. The hotel is charging for the view and trying to consume that cost by offering a low quality product at a higher price. They are not informative about the amenities of the hotel, only after completing the comment form did we realized there was a pool at the hotel. In our opinion, this hotel is not worth the price, its trying to pass itself of as something it is not.

I've heard and read raving reviews and commendations about this lavish property along Aguinaldo Highway and after couple of attempts, we finally get the chance to experience Taal Vista. Checking in was swift but the reception crew was lame. Apparently, you can see that there is an impartial treatment among guests, with its expansive land area how could you expect a guest to find his/her way by just sayin "turn right" when in fact you have to walked yourself into another building to find your room. We had the refurbished mountain view room, not bad to compensate the lack of Taal Lake view. Linens were comfortable enough. Complete toiletries, though if you find anything missing you can always ask the housekeeping. Maintenance & housekeeping pips redeem the images of the reception crew as theyre always responsive to the your needs. Breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing distinct. We also tried their signature massage at Asmara, I'm satisfied with mine though my partner thought his was lousy. The unobstructed view of the Taal Lake and Volcano is the saving grace of this hotel, if not for these I couldnt see any reason why one should go back. Maybe I just expected too much. Worth a visit, though.

Our viewed of the Taal volcano was partially blocked by a small tree, BUT the view was breathless nonetheless. It was super romantic and room service was really nice. We had issues with Wi-Fi not working so we had a hard time researching for things to do.

We had our vacation July of 2013, we booked two rooms. Check-in is just a breeze. The view of the Taal Volcano is just breathtaking. My husband and I enjoy having coffee in our veranda while enjoying the view. The rooms are big and so clean. Sky Ranch is just a walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was just amazing! The food cooked very well, their lettuce was so fresh, you can hear the crunch from every bite. Love eating breakfast while enjoying the lake. The weather was great!

Will come back again.
