“Peaceful”

A very good place for meditating and reflecting on all the beautiful nature around it. They tell me there are miracles there but not sure. Peaceful.

“Peace in the City of scammers”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

In my opinion this is the one bright spot in Tagatay! Peaceful, quiest and I was able to reflect and pray for the souls of the scammers that over charge at at every single venue in this city.

“God's Home”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

-A very solemn place, esp when visitors are not too many.
-A good place to reflect and talk to God.
-Very accessible as it is just along the main highway.

“Big Statue”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

Big statue of the Lady of Manaoag. Many people when we visited. Couldn't concentrate for prayers. Please provide areas for meditation.

“A matter of Faith”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

The 50-ft statue of the Virgin Mary painted in red proved to be a prelude to the exuberance of those who created this attraction. I presume the place was meant to be a sanctuary for prayer and contemplation however, It was difficult for me to get past the overly decorated images in the main chapel . I also found the crass commercialism of the religious items in the adjoining shop very distracting.

As with most matters of devotion, ultimately, it's your faith that matters. If you can muster enough focus to cut through the gaudiness of the place, you can still find some peace to fulfill what the place was intended to facilitate.
